Alexandria is in Virginia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Alexandria is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Virginia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Closest course to me so I play here regularly. Course and conditions are decent for a muni (most of the time), but jesus do they have some of the most miserable workers. Not all of them, but several. The type of folks that must have missed out on joining their HOA association and had to come here to flex their authority. Arbitrary closing times depending on when they want to leave. I finished 18 holes earlier this summer at around 8:30 with no issues, came back and played 9 two days later and was being rushed to finish around 7:30. Another time this year, I walked to my car after my round, a lady popped out of the clubhouse to tell me how she was about to lock me in. It was not that late or dark, and isn't it your job to make sure no one else is still playing? Most recently was yelled at and lectured by another worker for hitching a ride to the parking lot from hole 11 (directly next to the parking lot) on the back of the cart of people I was playing with. I get it, not safe, not allowed. I didn't push back or argue. I immediately said sorry and that I would never do it again. She proceeded to give me the 3rd degree and lecture me even as I told her respectfully to stop and not tal

$45 (1 adult, 1 youth) for 9 holes (walking) on a Tuesday was kinda crazy considering the condition of this course. Especially when Tues is their maintenance day. Not sure what maintenance they are doing other than the advertised creek project as youll see from the pictures. I can deal with mediocre fairways and rough, but these greens are garbage. I can go multiple other locations and play 18 for the same price (specifically where they have the Youth on Course program so my kid plays for $5....hint hint....you should have this program to draw in parents). Id love to come back here for the location but I cant justify it until there's a significant price drop or quality change.

I golfed here for the first time last week and found the customer service to be the best Iβve seen across the golf courses in the county! I had a bright and early tee time, and everyone, from checkin, to the starter, to the manager who was at the clubhouse after I finished my round, ensured I had a pleasant experience. The course itself is undergoing some construction and the grounds were decent, but I especially loved the varying difficulty of the back nine, which was primarily Par 4 and Par 5 holes. I canβt wait to go back!

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Other than that... $31 for 9 holes is ridiculous. Especially, considering the condition of this course. The landscape needs a lot more attention for that price... a lot. Also, none of the tee boxes were properly marked.

Beautiful challenging golf course with several water hazards to make your day exciting. Truly well maintained with beautiful fairways. Greens and t boxes are well maintained. Pace of play is adequate, several people do like to walk, but people kept up. The cart paths are gaily smooth, much better than many I have experienced in the area. Staff is friendly. No complaints, definitely a good place to play 18.
